This week we are finishing our over-wintering of the potted plant material.  All of our container plants get grouped together,  baited for rodents, covered with closed cell foam, and then covered with 6 mil white plastic.  After the white plastic has been laid across the block of plants, we then seal the edges all the way around with coarse sand.  When you’re dealing with about 30,000-35,000 plants, this is a very time consuming process.  Today, if the winds stay light, the crew should finish.  They have all worked exceptionally hard this week and we really appreciate their efforts!
