Celebration Maple

Celebration Maple
Celebration Maple

Slightly smaller in size than its close cousin – Autumn Blaze Maple, we have seen how well Celebration  Maple fits into landscapes while showing excellent growth, deeper green foliage, outstanding branching and shape, good disease resistance, and a lovely mix of yellow, orange and red fall colors.

Celebration  Maple is a hybrid of red maple and silver maple, and is known for its symmetrical branch structure, and strong branches that are attached to the trunk at angles that allow the attachment to the trunk to become ever stronger over time.  This results in Celebration Maple being a tree that is likely to have a long useful life in the landscape.

In some years, Celebration Maples turn a nice buttery yellow in Autumn and in other years, the fall color is an electric mix of yellow, orange and red.  Fall weather seems to have a lot to do with this color variation.

The mature size rating for Celebration Maple is 40′ tall and 25′ wide, compared to 45′ tall x 35′ wide of the Autumn Blaze Maple.  This slightly smaller size can be a really good fit for placing Celebration Maple onto some of the smaller spaces on today’s somewhat smaller building lots.

Celebration is pretty versatile, growing well on a wide variety of soil types, and has another very nice characteristic of being seedless.  Lots of folks don’t want to have “helicopters” raining down on their yard, and Celebration is a tree choice that will avoid this.

Celebration Maples are available in pots, and as larger balled and burlapped trees.  Stop in for a look.  We’re open 7 days a week until mid-November.
