If you crave gorgeous fall color – the ‘Flame’ Amur Maple should definitely make the list!  This is a spectacular choice if you are seeking a plant with reliable red colors in the fall.  A small tree / large shrub it will grow to a height of approximately 20 feet tall.

During the growing season, it has dark green foliage. Hardy to Zone 3, it makes a great accent plant – a plant you can grow under power lines – it is wonderful in massed plantings or windbreaks.  Relatively low maintenance – check out the Flame Amur Maple while the colors are still magical.
