Whether you’re establishing a new planting or looking to refresh existing beds, spring is a great time to plant something new. Here at Knecht’s, we love trying new things; and we’re excited to share these stunners with you!

Oso Easy Roses – The Proven Winners® Oso Easy series of roses is something to behold. Love roses but hate getting thorns in your paw? Roses in this series bloom like crazy from early summer all the way to fall with no deadheading! Maintaining them is easy too- these plants are low growing, maxing out at about 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Excellent disease resistance and cold hardiness all the way down to zone 3 make these roses even better.

Saxifraga – This low-growing alpine perennial is a profuse bloomer in early spring, and its precious blooms last through to early summer. It boasts deer and rabbit resistance and evergreen foliage. Put this hardy plant in a moist, shady spot in the garden as a showy border plant, or in a container where it will receive regular water. It also looks great in rock gardens!

Bellis – This compact beauty would love a sunny spot in your garden border or mass planting. Low-growing and loaded with pompom type flowers in early spring, this English daisy is simply bellissima! Good deer and rabbit resistance and prolonged blooming with deadheading add to the appeal of this robust perennial.
