We are helping RENew Northfield in their fundraising efforts by displaying and handing out the order forms for their rainbarrels. You can help protect the Cannon River by collecting rainwater from downspouts, preventing storm water run-off and river pollution. There are grants available through the Cannon River Watershed Partnership which you can use if you apply before April 14th. We do have a copy of the grant application here at the nursery as well as from the Partnership.
These wonderful barrels came from a distillery in Kentucky. The rainbarrels will be put together on Earth Day on April 22nd at Bridge Square here in Northfield. The cost is $160 which includes $100 tax-deductible contribution. There are several choices of animal statues for the spigot.
Stop in at the nursery now and look at this wonderful rain barrel and support RENew Northfield in helping to protect the Cannon River!
