As I write this, the final touches are being put on the nursery, getting it tucked in for a long winter rest. It’s always bittersweet to wrap up the season. We are thankful to finish the race but sad to see things get so quiet. Now everybody can take a deep breath, rest their bodies and look forward to 2025.
It was a great season, with plenty of challenges and victories. The early, wet spring provided optimal growing conditions, and the warm, dry fall extended our planting season. We navigated loads of schedule adjustments, assisted customers with their landscaping questions, and continuously educated and trained our team to maintain our high-quality standards. Our hard-working team kept a positive attitude and found moments of joy and laughter throughout the physically demanding work in the heat, cold, and rain.
A huge thank you to our team members for their dedication and their families for enduring the scheduling demands. Thank you to our faithful and wonderful customers near and far. We must also express gratitude to our vendors for being an endless resource of information (and supplies).
