Do you have containers to plant or window boxes to fill? Tired of planting the same plants year after year? Meet-up with Heidi Brosseau for some inspiration, ideas, and/or help! She will be on site to assist you in finding the right annuals to fill your planters, barrels, and boxes. Bring pictures and measurements of your container(s) as well as a picture of the location where they will be growing. Class price: This is a free event.
Friday, May 20th from 5-6 pm: Tabletop Succulent Gardens
Create a tabletop succulent garden! Succulent bowls make excellent tabletop gardens for anyone with a sunny deck, patio or porch. Wow yourself, your friends and your family with this creative, unique, and low maintenance form of gardening! Planting bowls, plants and stones are included in the class price. Please bring any trinkets, baubles, fairies, gnomes, or other items that you might like to incorporate into your work. Call or email to reserve your planter – quantities are limited. Sunday, May 22nd at 2:00 pm: Raised Garden Planting Demonstration
Do you know how to properly prune your tomatoes? Why shouldn’t you use plain soil to fill your planters and containers? Bernie Emery will answer these questions and more as she demonstrates the right way to plant a raised garden. She’ll talk you through her process, sharing tips about the veggies and herbs she has selected to fill her raised garden planter. Take your new knowledge home and enjoy a successful growing season above ground. Supplies to plant and grow your own raised garden will be available for purchase. Class price: This is a free event.
