Here is a fun way to dress up an old wheelbarrow, and add something unique and interesting to your outdoor environment. Container gardening is a great way to incorporate plants even when the site doesn’t allow for in ground plantings, and as you can see, you don’t have to limit yourself to flower pots. I used assorted succulents and sedums to create a miniature rock garden in my wheelbarrow. Herbs or shade plants would lend themselves beautifully to this application as well. Think outside the flower pot and try something new in your garden! Stop in with your “planter” and we can make suggestions to help inspire you!
Thanks to Heidi Brosseau – both for her creative and amazing “wheelbarrow garden” and for the blog!
